Faisal M Buttar

Faisal M. Buttar is Assistant Advocate General Punjab (AAG). He holds his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan and Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in International Economic Law from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom. His dissertation in LL.M. was on Alternative Dispute Resolution in Pakistan. Prior to his appointment as AAG, He has been advising his clients and conducting litigation in cases related to civil, constitutional, commercial and criminal branches of law as part of renowned law firms in Pakistan. He is continuing to appear in the cases related to above branches of law as AAG. He remained involved with several projects of The World Bank, United Nations Development Program (UNDP), European Union (EU), Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) as legal advisor, consultant, resource person and transactional advisor.  He also attended Konrad Adenauer School for Young Politicians (KASYP) in 2011-2012. He has represented Pakistan in number of seminars, workshops and conferences globally.
